Basically there are 2 ways to become a coach in China.
1. You were a former athlete.
2. You're a sport degree, masters or phd holder.
If you were a former athlete, you get fast tracked into the program and can start developing athletes.
If you're a sports degree, masters or phd holder, you'll have to spend about 10 years before being admitted into the junior coach program.
There are 3 levels,
1. Junior coach (Build winners in the national games)
2. Senior coach (Build winners in the world and Olympic games)
3. Doctorate coach (Build multiple winners in the world & Olympic stage)
After you've fulfilled the requirements in the brackets at level 1, you can apply to be a senior coach, and then a doctorate coach. Before getting your qualifications, you will need to present;
1. Your theories and methodologies to the university and coaches
2. Your athletes achievements
Each stage takes roughly a decade to pass.
Can you become a coach in China? Yes, but because you're a foreigner, (you're using facebook, of course you're a foreigner) you'd first have to get a degree or masters or phd in sport, before you can enroll to be an apprentice under a coach of the sport that you want to focus in.
